Membership and Commenting Policy

This community is currently open for anyone to join, and all members may post entries. Anyone may comment (including by OpenID or anonymously).

We aim to challenge people, not to attack them. We might criticise ideas and behaviours, but we won't condemn people. We ask community members and commenters to abide by the same principles.

As moderators we will do our best to keep this a welcoming and pleasant space. To do this we will freeze any thread that becomes heated, and may delete posts or comments containing ad hominem attacks. If we have to delete a post or comment from the same user more than 3 times, we may bar them from posting or commenting again.

If at any stage we find we're not able to keep up with moderating with the current settings, we might tighten up the settings to let us do so. If this is necessary, we'll post to explain what we've changed and why.
