I've mentioned the Universal Church Triumphant of the Apathetic Agnostic before. I was reminded of them today, and wondered if they were still around. They started as essentially one man's reflections on ethics from an agnostic's perspective and developed into an online community led by the Patriarch. He had health (and age) problems a few years ago and the site went essentially dormant, but it appears he's appointed a new Patriarch in the last year, and the site's being updated. I'm glad to see this, because many of the articles would be of interest to our own little community. Some of the guest posts are in fact from liberal Christians, often with full-on academic citations. We like citations here. :-)

The one I was reading earlier today is about homosexuality, but I do recommend having a look around the website. Link to essay: https://apatheticagnostic.org/articles/reflections/ref05/ref086

There are some very good articles on morality without religion, some of which are directly relevant to morality *with* religion. My own nutshell answer to "But how can someone behave morally if they don't believe in God?" is "What does it say about your own character that you think only the threat of divine punishment will stop people from doing evil unto others?"
